Footwear Design and Development Institute (FDDI AIST) Entrance Exam Preparation


FDDI AIST (Footwear Design and Development Institute All India Selection Test) exam is scheduled on 24 May 2020 for admission to UG and Master’s Design and management courses in Footwear Design and Development. The last date for applying is 15, April 2020. In order to qualify the exam, firstly, it is necessary to understand the exam details including exam patterns before going into details that how the preparation should be done. There are 2520 seats for Bachelor’s Degree courses and 450 seats for master’s degree programs in all, available in various campus of FDDI across the country for 2020 admissions. FDDI is a premier and most preferred institute in footwear design.

FDDI Exam pattern:

FDDI exam is pen and paper-based on OMR based. The duration of the exam will be 2 and half hours.

There is no negative marking for wrongly answers questions. To get admission and to your choice institute, your rank should be high. For example, for Noida campus in footwear, leather and Fashion Design, your rank should be under 500.

FDDI AIST Syllabus 2020:

From the table given above, you must have observed that the FDDI AIST exam is divided into main four sections, viz. Quantitative Aptitude, Verbal Ability, General Awareness, and Business Aptitude test. The syllabus covers the syllabus of class 11 and class12 of the CBSE exam. Current affairs and General awareness section can be prepared by keeping updated from various sources like newspapers, magazines on fashion and design and related books.

Speed and Accuracy:

In exams, time management is a prime factor. Solving quantitative aptitude questions with short cut methods save time and is the necessity of today. Other sections also need to be performed within the given time limit.  In the first round, attempt questions that you are sure. Always leave some time left to go for second round. There is no negative marking, hence in the second round, attempt most of the remaining questions. Practicing questions, again and again, makes you perfect and confident of solving questions.
