How to Prepare and Crack SSC CPO Exam In 2 Weeks?
The exam for Paper I of SSC CPO 2019 is scheduled from 11 to 13 December 2019. Hardly two weeks are left for final exam preparation.
It is a National Level exam and a large number of candidates appear for the test. Applicants should be well prepared for the Final Exam. No doubt, SSC CPO Mock Test will play a vital role at this crucial stage, but firstly we will program a detailed weekly schedule to follow for preparation. We are giving here weekly/ daily schedule for preparation:-
There are four parts in the examination viz. General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude and English Language. We assume that the candidate has already done one round of preparation earlier. Last two weeks should be divided into 14 days for preparation. It will be of preparation cum revision type of study.
Day 1, and 2:
Section 1: Quantitative Aptitude:- Candidate should target to attempt 34-35 questions out of 50 Questions. QA covers questions of numerical ability/ math of the UG level. Most of the topics like Geometry, co-ordinate Geometry, Algebra, Number System, Percentage, Time Speed & Distance, Time & Work, Data Integration (Bar graph and Pie chart), mensuration etc. should be covered in first week itself.
Day 3, and 4:
Section 2: General Awareness: Current Affairs questions can only be prepared from current news. Course material for other topics are available from books like History, Geography, Polity, General Science, and Economy should be covered in the first week itself. Target should be of attempting 33-35 questions with good accuracy.
Day 5, and 6:
Section 3: General Intelligence and Reasoning:
The syllabus will cover Analogy, Word arrangement, Odd one out, Number Alphanumeric Series, Logical Reasoning, Direction, Venn Diagram, Matrix, Coding, and decoding, Miscellaneous and Non-verbal. Number of the expected question in each topic varies from 2 to 7, however from Non-verbal and Miscellaneous may cover 9 to 10 questions. The target of the good attempt of 36 questions will be good.
Section 4: English Language:
In the English section, main topics to cover are Sentence improvement, sentence completion, wrongly spelled words, reading comprehension, Cloze test, idioms & phrases, one-word substitution, spotting error, Antonyms, synonyms. A good attempt of 30 to 32 questions should be the target.
Revision of all topics studied.
Day 1,2,3,4 and 5:
These five days must be devoted to systematically practicing the SSC CPO Online Test Series. SSC CPO Mock Test is easily available online with free and paid options. Here systematically means every attempt of the mock test should be analyzed from several aspects like, the average time taken for each question, overall score, no. of correct answers, number of wrong answers, questions which you could have answered correctly.
Remember that candidates shortlisted in Paper -1 will proceed for PET/ PST examination. Staff Selection Commission shall have the discretion to fix section-wise different minimum qualifying marks.
Minimum qualifying marks in Paper-I and Paper-II are as follows:
1. UR: 30%
2. OBC/ EWS: 25%
3. All other categories: 20%
Hence candidates must focus on good scoring in each section of the examination. The mock test will boost your scoring by progressive improvement with new sets. Candidates must study the answers of wrongly answered questions before attempting a new set of mock tests. All the best for your success in the final exam.
